England Team Captain Mark Dobson stormed to the finish line and claimed the Open Championship title beating 2011 Open Champion winner Carlos Hunter!
2011 Euro Nations Deaf Karting Individual Ladies Champion and 2011 English Open Champion Nina Hunt defended her title this year for the third time in a row.
Will she defend her Euro Nation title as well in May 26th 2012?
England Team Drivers Richard Houslow and Emily Meacher also claimed the Second and Third podiums at Whilton Mill!

England Deaf Karting Team achieve dream to win European Deaf Karting Team Championship!
England claimed victory by narrowest of points margins to deny Germany a hat-trick of team championship wins at Ellough Park Raceway, Beccles, Suffolk.
England regulars (Chris Heppenstall, Carlos Hunter, Mark Dobson, Benjamin Cheshire, Robin Caswell, Nina Hunt and Julia Mills) were joined by five new rookies (David Salmon, Richard Houslow, Matthew Parker, George Wilkins and Emily Meacher), and all put in incredible, cool headed, heart on sleeves performances in their heats to gain valuable points for the team.
The final results are as follows:
1st England 471 pts
2nd Germany 432 pts
3rd Italy 343 pts
4th Northern Ireland 311pts
5th Scotland 253 pts
6th Belgium 248pts
England First ever individual Ladies Champion!
One of our top ladies drivers have a very good reason to smile after the Euro Nations Deaf Karting Championship and it has nothing to do with the fact her team won the event!
Nina Hunt has also achieved bringing a dream ambition to reality after winning the Ladies Final making her the new Euro Nations Deaf Karting Individual Ladies Champion!
The England team are proud of Nina's achievement and looking forward to watch her defend her hard-earned title next year.
The club chairman Christopher Heppenstall has had also said it was a double celebration to a perfect weekend!
