Christoper Heppenstall is the EDKT chairman. Armed with his yorkshire wits and his thinking helmet, he has worked hard and his reward was to see the club popularity grow and the Euro Nations Deaf Karting Championship cup won on his watch.

He founded the Yorkshire Deaf Karting Associaltion (YDKA) with fellow Yorkshireman Mark Dobson.

His interests are Leeds United, Formula One, Le Mans Series, has a thing for strategy games. He is also a wine connoisseur.

Benjamin Cheshire is the EDKT Secretary and Media Officer.

He is Christoper Heppenstall's fast-talking Right Hand Man in all EDKT business and strategic development plans. He also deals with all media-related duties organising and doing event film and photography.

His interests are motorcycles, Formula One, MotoGP, film-making, animals and Martial Arts.

Nina Hunt is the EDKT Treasurer. Armed with a calculator and is not only quick at driving but signing cheques as well. She is also the current Euro Nations Deaf Karting Individual Ladies Champion.

She is one of the longest served EDKT drivers also is an ambassador for one of the team’s project – to help stimulate the growth of deaf ladies membership in deaf karting.

Her interests are Formula One, theatre, and Martial Arts.

Mark Dobson is the EDKT Captain and one of the longest served EDKT drivers.

He founded the YDKA with Christoper Heppenstall.

His interests are in Leeds United, Peugeots, Formula One, MTB biking, and Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3.

He also claims to be the Yorkshire Stig.

Angus McGuiness is a long term sponsor with his company ABM Vehicle Rental and is involving in helping with the fundraising for the motorsport club.

He is also quite handy in a kart!

His interests are fishing, golf, and anything with wheels on!
